Single Zone/Multi-Zone Slim Duct Combinations

Slim Duct Unit

When it’s cold outside it’s warm inside. Eco-Air Slim Duct indoor units can be used as a primary heat source. When coupled with a Hyper Heat outdoor unit, Heat Pump operation is possible down to -30°C. The Slim Duct units are factory ready for a third party auxiliary electric heat module if needed.

Built-in Drain Pump

The Slim Duct unit is equipped with a factory installed condensate lift pump capable of lifting the water up to 29″ to a gravity drain pipe.

Fresh Air Intake

The air handler is able to mix fresh air from the outside with room existing air to achieve optimal indoor air quality (IAQ).

Auto Defrost

This feature prevents the indoor coil from freezing and maintains dehumidification while in low temperature conditions.

Auto Restart Function

If the air conditioner shuts off unexpectedly due to a power outage, it will restart with the previous settings automatically when the power resumes.

Refrigerant Leak Detection

In the unlikely event of a refrigerant leak, the indoor unit’s wall controller will display an “EC” error code and will automatically stop the system from operating. This protects the compressor from high temperature damage due to a low refrigerant condition.

Compatibility

Eco-Air Slim Duct units are compatible with select Single Zone and all Multi-Zone outdoor units including Hyper Heat models.

Compressor Heating Belt

Compressor Heating Belt is standard for easier start ups and compressor protection during cold weather.

Base Pan Heater

Base Pan Heater is standard to ensure there is no ice build up inside the outdoor unit and proper drainage occurs during cold weather as well as when a defrost cycle is initiated.

Low Ambient Cooling

Eco-Air units can provide cooling at low outdoor temperatures. This is especially useful when year round cooling is required. See product specifications and submittals to verify suitability for your application.
